Hi there! I’m Nikolai Chisholm, 19 years old and a student in the city of Montpellier in France.

I am studying Maths, Physics, and Chemistry, subjects that reflect my interest in science in general but especially astrophysics and chemistry. I am studying to become an engineer or a researcher.

I really enjoy sports such as swimming and running; I have a great interest in aviation, spaceflight and model aircraft. I love rock music, dance and playing the piano. I have had the opportunity to travel around Europe and I have a great fondness for museums and culture in general.

I spent my early childhood in Italy, then lived near London for seven years until I moved to France in 2014. This way I am used to meeting new people from new cultures and I speak fluent English, French, and a little Italian, German and Spanish. When I came to France, I knew very little French, so I know what it feels like to be in a foreign country, in an academic and social environment and not speaking the language. I trust that my experience will help you feel all the more relaxed and at home.

I very much look forward to meeting you this summer and ensuring that you have the most enjoyable and productive stay possible!
