Hey you all, how are you? My name’s Jorge and I’ll be your guide during IChO 2019.
I’m from a small village in Cantabria (north of Spain), but my heart is half-French. Right now, I’m studying first year of Mathematics and Physics near home. I’m 18, and last year I participated in IChO in Slovakia/Czech Republic. I obtained a bronze medal and can just say it was the best experience of my life so far, meeting people from all around the world (including South Africa, of course). I’m sure you’ll have fun, especially in a place like Paris.
My main hobby is sport, I love it, specially cycling, tennis (don’t know if you follow Kevin Anderson) and Formula 1. I usually practice sport around 4 times a week. Furthermore, I also like music, reading and traveling (Olympiad are such a good way for doing that… 😉 ). I’m really interested in visiting South Africa, I hope we can meet there in some years’ time.
